Rae is a Taiwanese interdisciplinary artist working across embroidery, illustration, and narrative text. Her work explores memory, feminine emotion, and intergenerational storytelling, drawing from rural Taiwanese landscapes, family histories, and the quiet details of everyday life.
Through her characters and handmade worlds, she moves between the poetic and the everyday — finding in small scenes a language for things that are difficult to say directly.
She is currently based in Wellington, New Zealand, and exhibits across Taiwan, Japan, and New Zealand.
